Text messages from Voxa
Last updated 27 September 2026
Voxa answers the phone for businesses. When you book an appointment with one of them, that business may send you a small number of text messages about the booking. This page says what those texts are, how often they arrive, how you agreed to them, and how to stop them.
What we send
- A confirmation when you book, with the time of your appointment.
- One reminder about an hour before your appointment. If that hour would fall early in the morning, the reminder comes the evening before instead.
- A note if the business has to move you to a different time. That text asks you to reply YES if the new time works or NO if it doesn't, so the business can find you another time.
We never text before 8:00 am or after 9:00 pm in the business's own time zone, and we never text about an appointment once it has started.
How often
Usually 2 texts per appointment: the confirmation and the reminder. If the business has to move you, you get one more each time, plus a short reply if you answer YES or NO. That is all. There is no marketing, no newsletter, and nothing unrelated to the appointment you booked. If you never book again, you never hear from us again.
How you agreed
You were asked. Either the receptionist asked you on the call, after a time was agreed and before the booking was made:
"Want me to text you a confirmation and a reminder an hour before, at this number? Message and data rates may apply, and you can reply STOP any time."
and you said yes. Or you gave your mobile number to the business yourself, when you booked with them directly, and they entered it so we could confirm your appointment. If you told the receptionist not to text you, we don't.
Stop / help
- To stop: reply STOP to any text. You will get one final message confirming you have been unsubscribed, and then nothing more. Your appointment stays booked; only the texts stop.
- For help: reply HELP to any text, or email info@vvoxa.com.
Message and data rates may apply
Your carrier may charge you for the texts you receive and any reply you send, as it would for any other text. Voxa and the business never charge you for them.
Who is texting
The texts come from the business you booked with, sent from its own phone number. Voxa sends them on the business's behalf, as its phone system, using only the number you gave and the details of your booking. How we look after that information is in our Privacy Policy.
Contact
- Email: info@vvoxa.com, with "Text messages" in the subject.
- Phone: (704) 728-5492.
If you have a question about the appointment itself, the business you booked with is the right place to ask; every text names them.
